Hi folks,

I have just ordered a FOR FA-140/P TBC and I'm using S-Video for input and output. But when I turn it on, it gives a black and white picture with a bit of green and pink banding.

I tried all the settings but there aren't any changes in picture. Does anyone how to configure this device properly? I've also checked the output signal of this device with the CBT-100 and it shows that it's output is PAL.

The dark picture looks like Macrovision on VHS to me.

But in Pause mode... Which VHS player is that ?
Do other sources exhibit the same problem ?

it looks like it was using the composite input and the filter is defective.

it is not macrovision.
