Sangnom is probably used in 80% of all antialiasing scripts and not just for deinterlacing ;)

So in this case it makes sense to support higher bit depth, but is does not mean every plugin should support it by default.

Yep, 8 bit plug-ins are OK for DVD and for native DV tape sources restoration because it is usually 8 bit 4:2:0. All those very specific tools like Bifrost, DeCross are 8 bit only

But for analogue sources 8 bit is not a limit. More-less professional capture cards and codecs do native 10-bit 4:2:2 from VHS, Hi8 and any other tape source and it is totally different level of quality and color correction flexibility.
But anyway, why limit things with 8 bit from start? It is not convenient. Soon or late someone need some tool for 10 but capture restoration and oops, it transforms everything to 8 bit. Also (same as in audio) bit depth upscale for processing have advantages.

Again, this is way off topic. If you have major issues with plugins being 8 bit I'm sure the developer(s) would appreciate it if you were to fork the project, update it, and push a pull request.

It's actually older, but I decided to compile it for archival purposes and in case someone wants it.

Updated FFMS2 & LSMASHSource to their latest version with FFmpeg 4.3.1 and recompiled D2VSource with FFmpeg 4.3.1 as well. Also ffmsindex included with FFMS2 is a static build so it does not matter where it is placed for it to work.

Updated AddGrain, CTMF, DFTTest, & ZNEDI3. DFTTest r7 does not work on Sierra or High Sierra & I do not have a test machine with Mojave, so it's possible it only works on Catalina or higher. These are the last plugins I had on my list that were out of date. If there are any other plugins out there feel free to link them here and I can look into them. Here is the updated list of plugins I've looked into that are not currently available:

Revisited compiling IT direct from source without modifying it to be compatible with older version of macOS. It does work, however it uses aligned_alloc which is introduced in Catalina so it will not be compatible with older versions of the OS.

Waifu2x-ncnn-vulkan is now available, you will have to install the Vulkan SDK (https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home) for it to work. As with any GPU based plugin, performance & stability will vary based on your system.

Finally got around to testing tc2cfr & VFRtoCFR, both load, however tc2cfr does not appear to recognize any files as a valid Timecode V1 files so I have removed it for now. The original copy of VFRtoCFR was actually corrupted so it has been replaced with a working version.

Event though it is considered depreciated/obsolete by the developer, I went ahead and compiled Waifu2x-w2xc and the download also includes waifu2x-converter-cpp. The main reason was due to the CUDA support for older machines with NVIDIA cards, however I was unable to test that portion. If you have a newer machine I would recommend waifu2x-ncnn-vulkan instead as it is twice as fast as this plugin.

Small question: Does someone have list of all the direct download paths for the latest plugins?
I would like automate the download and extraction of the plugins with something like:

Yeah, I wish I had the means to host this all with direct links. I've considered other free services too, but Google Drive has soft rolling bandwidth caps on the server side & Mega has bandwidth caps on the user side for their entire service. If anyone has any better ideas for sharing locations or would like to host just let me know.

I could host it on my server. But you could also put everything on github for free... and with macOS binaries on github, vsrepo could be extended with macos support. Maybe it already works in portable mode.
