I was wondering if there's a way to use Avisynth+ script to capture video footage from a capture card?

I have a capture card that supports Rec.2020 Colorspace & HDR(St2084(Transfer). Allot of third party capture devices don't have the ability for 10Bit+ or anything with HDR.

I was thinking maybe it would be possible with avisynth script and x265 codec.

Already tested codec and my PC can keep up with x265 while capturing the footage.
