I never had problems with DVD2SVCD before apart from using VCR multipass but thats because my CPU is slow so I use CBR. (well technically not an error just slowliness of encoding)

Anyways, my question is, i didnt really have an error but when i started encoding at 1AM, i can see CCE's turn to encode starts passed 2AM, and CCE opens up but stopped from there, it didnt really encode. I went back at 4 and noticed it. Its not doing anything for more than an hour. So while CCE is open, I clicked the encode button and it went on again. Right now it is still processing the video with no problems but I am just wondering why it stopped. I wasnt doing anything, i just let the pc encode it.

I never had this problem before and I never installed any update. I am using the latest build (my third try to rip DVD using this build)

Thanks

Haven't you locked you user session? Pls note that XP's Fast User Switching lock the console too. The problem is DVD2SVCD cannot push the Encode button if the screen is locked.

Pls search the Forum for more details - it has been discussed many times.
