Hello.
I recently discovered the crossfeed option (for headphones) in MPC-HC.
However, if I switch between on and off (check/ uncheck) there is no difference.
(If I turn on the "Dolby Headphone" option at my Xonar STX driver
it is a BIG difference. Although I don't like the result at all).
Are there any circumstances at which the crossfeed option in
MPC-HC does not get in action? Something in the driver chain etc.?
What do I do wrong?
(Win7-64 Prof. SP1, MPC-HC 64 Bit v. 1.7.15)

Have you restarted the player between tries?

Options - Playback - Output - set Audio Renderer to Internal Audio Renderer.

@chros: OK, I tried .... still no difference.

@lvqcl: Yes, that did it!
:thanks:
Do I have to expect any quality degradation when I switch from a potential high quality "system default" (ASUS STX) renderer to internal renderer?

no quality difference. i don't even know why you think your soundcard has anything todo with the renderer.

Well ... because ... I'm a dummy about certain things (That's why I ask).
:o
So I can leave this playlist things and come back to my beloved MPC.
If only gapless audio playback would be possible (for concept albums and some classic) my audiophile needs would be satisfied totally ...
Greetings!
