Means, vBulletin will ignore my message if I am not a licensed customer of their board software, because I might be a software pirate (if I am just a user of any worldwide installed board, but do not host an own board)?

Hello.

We have set up a licensed support center inside the members area and request that all support tickets be submitted from there. This is part of our continuing effort to make sure that we are devoting our time to supporting the legitimate owners of vBulletin licenses instead of people who run the program illegally.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we think that you will appreciate it as the quality of our service and our response times improve.

So ... what now? Do I have to find any administrator of any vBulletin based board who may forward my bug report to the vBulletin support?

If you have found a bug, I would report it to the sysop of the forum where you experienced the bug. Since the software is not licensed to you, that is why they won't respond to you.

However, if you can find a physical mailing address, you could send a letter to them. Since real "snail mail" letters are so rare these days, it has been my experience that they actually get more attention than emails.

So here it would probably be Swede, if not even Doom9...
