View Full Version : Is there anything like Vobsub/VSrip, except that it actually works?

Vobsub has once again had a brainfart and refused to work at all today. Does anyone know of an alternative that does the same thing (painting hardsubs directly from the VOB file onto a video stream before encoding), but without the bugs?

Ugh. A hundred reboots later and it's STILL doing that thing where the subs only last for the first 1/4 of the movie. Why has this software never been fixed?

EDIT: after installing and testing vsfilter.dll, it looks like the problem is with VSrip.exe, not with Vobsub itself. Where can I find something that does basically the same thing as VSrip, except that it works?

EDIT 2: Okay, apparently my problem was that I was using version 1.0.0.6 of VSrip. Using the 64-bit 1.0.0.7 beta version got everything working again.
