Been trying hard but to no avail.
What I would like to get accomplished is:
-Rip to 2 cds with best quality and no lost footage.
What's been happening:
-Split point missing footage, or, end missing footage; sometimes both.

Tried dropping to 1 pass, turn temporal smoothing off, drop minutes per cd.
Same issue with poor quality.

Could anyone who has been successful, please send me your settings that I might mimic, or, read settings below and suggest some
changes. Please post, or, email adrenachrone@hotmail.com

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could try using the latest build of dvd2svcd that might fix your issue. DVD2SVCD 1.0.6 build 4 is the latest build and here is the link http://212.88.77.140/

Use the default settings! That is what they are there for. Go to misc tab and press default. Do a 3 or 4 pass vbr. That's it.
To make sure you are using defaults, delete the dvd2svcd.ini file in your directory where dvd2svcd is stored. Then uncheck resample audio.

Thanx DDogg, I somehow knew you would reply. Your wisdom is appreciated.
Just a couple of quick final questions.

1- should I activate the cd overlay? i even tried it with a 30 second overlay but it didn't work
2- should i try chapter selection again or just let er ripp and split on it's own (if so, with default settings, what's the approx amount of minutes i should be gunning for per 800 cd)
3- what about the temporal smoothing?

Thanx again, I've read tons of the site about this stuff but being that i'm experiencing difficulties, I would rather empart my trust in the top dog!
