I used avisynth to serve a pal vcd into CCE and then remultiplexed the orig audio back in, but both vcd's have a problem. The video stops 3/4 way thruogh while the audio continues?

Anyone know any hints/caveats why this may have happened?

My avs script was:

DirectShowSource("File",25)
ChangeFPS(29.97)
BiCubicResize(352,240,0,0.5)
ResampleAudio(44100)

Odd...

if you change the frame rate would'nt a\v be out of synch?.
anyway i suggest using tmpgenc instead of cce and demultiplexing audio\video and converting to wave first using "mad decoder".

Thats what a frame rate conversion is for, it duplicates/deletes frames to maintain sync. The audio was 100% in sync on both cd's till exactly 3/4 way through vcd when video frooze. If there was an audio sync prob, it would be evident immediatley.

Also, the audio is the same spec between PAL/NTSC.
Shouldnt have to change it anyway.

And CCE kicks the hell outta tmp, its faster and better qual.

I am not 100% sure, but i believe my process is right. I just find it confusing both cd's screwed up at the same point, and were perfect up to it.

Somethings up, and i dont know what!

Try to decode your audio to WAV, load your video and your WAV in TMPEG, make your settings, save a project file, VFAPI, load into CCE, make your settings and encode. It always works for me.
