I expect the answer is "no" but I'd like to verify... is it possible to take an AC3 mono track and duplicate it into a 2.0 dual mono track without reencoding via WAV first? My current soundbar/shield/plex setup has a bug somewhere that gets me silence from videos with mono AC3. Mono PCM or DTS are fine - it's specifically an AC3 problem, and I have a number of bluray special features from older films that are mono AC3. There are ways around it at the playback level, but if it's possible to do a lossless mono-to-stereo conversion when I drop the files into Plex, that would be the simplest option of all.
