Hi.
I have been using AC3 filter for many many years because it allowed me set the volume level for each individual channels (see attachment).
As you know AC3 filter cannot decode Dolby Atmos/DTS-HD.
I know that LAV Audio decoder works with MPC-HC but I cannot set volumes for individual channels...
What would be the solution for me?

Set AC3 filter to accept PCM input from LAV.

How do I do that? I have not been messing with my audio settings/encodes for many many years, not since TrueHD and DTS-HD came alone...

System->Use AC3Filter for ... -> PCM (un-tick the others)

And Do I need to configure something in LAV Audio?

It should work with LAV Audio default settings.

The AC3 filter does not shop-up in system tray. In LAV Audio decodes i have tired to check/uncheck Bitstreaming (S/PDIF, HDMI) on all audio formats.
I do not have A/V Reciver. My sound-system gets audio directly from PC-s audio card

Works for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Re-install AC3Filter. Open AC3Filter settings and make screenshot of "Main" and "System" tabs. Make sure you haven't blocked it via MPC-HC's "External filters" options.
Deactivate all SPDIF/Bitstreaming options in LAV and AC3Filter.
Does AC3Filter load if you set it to decode AC3/DTS etc. and uninstall LAV?
