Help with madVR

I open this tred for help to all of you experts madVR.
I look for help with practical examples. because due to cerebral palsy. I'm not very capable of synthesis, so I need practical help, which only experts you think I'm capable of giving me.
first question what are the defects of a video that madVR can correct?

settings>processing>artifact removal. (blocking and mosquito noise is "compression artifacts")

You can also sharpen the image if you want. (By using dedicated sharpening filter or selecting a sharper scaler.)

That guide is so out of date as to be useless. :(

defects such as an upscaled image should not presentere for an upscaler is of good quality?

Ah... didn't know that guide was outdated! Sorry dvd1...
If you look at the Edit history of that guide it says,
Date of latest edit: 19:28, 4 September 2017.
But I wouldn't know how accurate this guide is.
I shure could use a "beginners" guide which explains basic setting regarding my setup, CPU, GPU,
and so on and from there tweak the settings to get the most out of my setup.
So far it's been a trial & error (my two best friends) for me.

Except if you're ready to pay someone to help you, you can't expect people to give you free lessons whereas you can find lots of example on the Internet, even in your mother tongue.
You really need to use Google for this.
