I am just curious to know why the movie has to be 4.3GB when there is 4.7GB on the disc. does it take that much formatting or does a standalone DVD player not accept more than 4.3GB a side?

for the dvd/hd/.. industry 4,7GB=4,7 billion bytes, but for a computer 4,7 billion bytes /1024(kbytes)/1024(mbytes)/1024(gbytes)=4,37GB.
so a 4.7GB dvd can hold 4,37GB computer data.
