vlc player fullscreen exclusive mode?

is it possible to have fullscreen exclusive mode in vlc on windows? something like mpc-hc evr custom 'd3d fullscreen mode', or madvr fs exclusive?

d3d = Direct3D. VLC has preferences>>show all>>video>>output modules>>Direct3D. Should be the same thing. Also try the OpenGL options.

thanks i tried those, they dont seem to be what i want.
exclusive mode is different, when OS doesnt have access to the picture.
just an example from elsewhere (madvr settings):

enable automatic fullscreen exclusive mode: [Enabled] madVR has exclusive access to the display, nothing else can draw to the display without dropping out of this mode. This is the most stable mode for madVR because it has the most control over when and how video frames are displayed. There is a slight flicker and delay as madVR enters and exits this mode. Required for >8 bit output.


is smth like that doable in vlc, thats what i'd like to know.
