Someone told me that I should create a new thread for this, so here it is.
I know that HM reference model is solely for educational purposes and I think that's why there's no such thread allotted for this. But my question is, is there someone using the software? If yes, is there already an error concealment in HEVC that utilizes a CTU partition MV from the previous frame (not a frame error concealment)? This would be a good topic for thesis, I just wanted to know if there's already a built in feature in the most recent version. Some sources I read said that HEVC supports error concealment for frame level only, but that's in a previous version HM (10). Thanks for the reply.
