Hi guys!

I really need your help. I tried everything, but i cannot find solution. I have got ATI MOBILITY P/M in my laptop with Svideo out. The quality isn't good, and i'd try to build PCtoTV RGB connection.
ATI can produce composite sync, so it's easy to do.

Problem is with producing PAL refresh rate. I need 50 Hz interlace (15kHz). I can not set ATI to do it... Is it possible ?

I searched through whole Internet and no answer !?

I found Scan Converters to have much better quality then TV out options on display cards.
Look for products like the AverMedia AverKey. they will probably solve your problems much faster and better.

in powerstip you can adjust the timing for some gfx cards manually. my old ati worked with 50hz, but i dont know if 15khz is possible.

and my experience witch scan converters (only for PAL) are really bad, the ones i tried cannot produce a smooth video.

i have ATI, but with PowerStrip i can not adjust anything :-(
what version do you use ?

it was an old ati rage pro card and an old version of powerstrip - i used it some time ago to get 50hz for a better sync with a scan converter.

have you tried "display profiles - configure.." and select advanced timing options in the newest powerstrip ?
works with my geforce2mx.
but maybe the ati mobility chip (a special notebook chip i think) is not supported by powerstrip.
