I'm trying to convert a divx movie to svcd. I wanted to create a PAL svcd starting with a 23.976 fps divx. I made my encoding using avisynth's AssumeFPS command. Now I have a 25 fps videostream, but I have to shorten my audio.
I tried to do it using Soundforge, but this prog doesn't seem to accept an exact length for the output file. I always get something different than what I asked for. I ask for a duration of 84mins 22,840seconds, and I obtain a 84mins 23,310seconds long wav.

Is soundforge stupid ? Is it impossible to resize a wave precisely ? Is there a better soft to do this ? I'm lost !!!

You can do that in CoolEdit.

Thanks a lot for your answer, but I finally used Besweet for the length change and Soundforge for re-adjusting the pitch. :)
