I think it is time for the moderators to remove the sub-forum Gordian Knot forum, nobody uses it anymore and no-one has posted in that sub-forum for over 2 years.

Please remove https://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?f=28 either completely or make it a subforum within "mpeg-4 encoder guis".

Also the forum "New and alternative video codecs"
WMV9/VC-1, RealVideo (RV9/RV10) VP6/7, Snow, Theora, Dirac, etc.

should be renamed to:

New and alternative video codecs
WMV9/VC-1, RealVideo (RV9/RV10) VP8/9, Snow, Theora, Dirac, AV1 etc.

Making it «read-only» sounds more reasonable to me.
