Hi all, my goal is make a SVCD (from some DVD/VOB) using what described in the doom9's guide section as DVD2AVI VCD & SVCD Guides/CCE Guide.
I'm using these software for the job:
Windows XP Pro
CCE 2.50
Virtual Dub 1.4.8 (from Doom9)
VFAPI (from Doom9)
GraphEdit (from Doom9)
DVD2AVI 1.85 (tried 1.76 also) (both from Doom9)
Vstrip for the RIP process (from Doom9)

I've done exactly this:
1) Created DVD2AVI project
2) Extracted audio from VOB's files using Graphedit (as told in the guide)
3) Unpacked the VirtualDub 1.4.8 zip file (downloaded from Doom9). Surprise!! i hadn't found proxyon.reg and proxyoff.reg (as told in the guide i had to execute proxyoff.reg before use VFAPI). I've downloaded almost everything from Doom9, so i've serched for these 2 files and i've found them in some other zip file. I've executed proxyoff.reg.
4) I've started VFAPI and loaded d2v project, after that i've launched VFAPI convert
5) Loaded VirtualDub and opened the virtual AVI from VFAPI, added the resize filter.

6) STARTING FRAMSERVE FROM VIRTUALDUB. At this point i was confused about the Doom9's guide, i didn't understand if i've to close VDub, execute Auxsetup, install drivers, execute proxyon and then restart VDub again or whatever else... (FIRST QUESTION...which is the exact sequence).

I didn't remember which sequence i had but i remember that the first time it was going ok... started framserve, loaded the virtual AVI file into CCE, and started the encode process.
But i saw it was a bit slow...so i wanted to do others test in that moment...and i've aborted the framserve process.

From that moment on i was not able to restart again the same process...i've tried to execute proxyoff.reg, to uninstall VirtualDub framserve drivers and re-install them again, execute proxyon.reg...nothing to do.
When i start VDub framserve it goes ok (i see the frameserve window) but when i "ADD" the VDub avi into CCE this one abort without any error message, Windows XP simply closes the task...and that's all.

Any suggestion on what should i check or try for re-execute the correct process?
Hope someone could help me.....Thanks in Advance
