Very strange.
When I load a avi-file (dv-avi) and when there is no loudspeaker or headset connected to my system, VirtualDub stops with playing the file. I have to click 'no audio' in the menu of VD (but there is audio in the file) in order to play this file. The file plays normal in other players: WMediaplayer, Nero, etc... even when no headset or loudspeakers are connected.
Can somebody explain this?
