I have the CinDe detection tool...

Build: 0.95; Date: June, 24, 2016 from http://www.cinexhd2.com/downloads/

I have a download of Hell And Highwater which tests as clean... and yet my Samsung BR player... detects Cinavia. It also detected it on a genuine DVD from the library... so it had to be legit. Yet the Cinavia mute kicked in.

Since this is a new movie... has Cinavia done something new or is this a BR player problem? It still had the original firmware from 2 years ago. I called Samsung and they sent me a USB with the latest firmware... but the problem remains.

FYI: The BR is not connected to the internet.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Yes, Doom9 folks don't provide help with content downloaded or with rental. Buy it then help is available. Also read rules specially number 6
