Can DXR3 decode VOB files?

Setup:
A Weak K6/2-300MHz machine, 256Megs RAM, Win2K, a Creative DXR3 card and a DVD Drive.

Plays DVD's like charm.

Can I rip the DVD to harddisk and then watch the VOB, using the DXR card to decode the MPEG2 stream?

(I know from experience that a 300MHz K6 won't decode MPEG2 at a decent framerate using sheer CPU power alone)..

I only have (or rather: had) a H+ but that did work just fine. Check the HD playback guide.
