Help with a 29.97P Clip

Hello,

I've had similar sources before that are 29.97P but with those what you see in every 5 frames are 3 are 'clean' and 2 are blended, it's a case of hard telecined material being blend deinterlaced and this script does the trick:

Srestore(omode="pp3")
TDecimate()

BUT on this clip it's different as it appears there are 4 clean frames and 1 blended. So that script doesn't work.

I'd like to have the cilp fixed and be 23.976P as my end result.

Looks like originally PAL 25fps with 1-in-5 pulldown for 29.97fps, then field-blend deintelaced. Good luck with field blends.

Yep. That'll work.

It eliminates the blends, but leaves some duplicates. See for example frame 390 onwards.
But it's probably the best you can get with reasonable effort.
