What kind of capture device or hardware do you use?

Hi all, i have mini pci on my computer and im looking about for a decent card that is supported in dscaler and it is rgb the card should support.

What are the sources you want to capture?
For capturing and digitizing my VHS-C tapes I am using an external USB capture device (e.g. Hauppauge USB Live 2), due to lack of space for a PCI internal card. As inputs the device supports Composite and S-Video only.
For quality reasons I do not use the the on-the-fly mpeg-2 encoder which comes with the device, but I capture lossless either using codecs like HUFFYUV or UTVideo (supporting RGB etc.) and do the processing/compression in subsequent steps afterwards off-line.

Im mainly captureing from old consoles or video tapes and computers with vga in general.
