I have a problem with what appears to be ghosting

Your first sample has fields out of sync with frames, and blended chroma.

y=separatefields.selectevery(2,1,2).weave
uv=overlay(last,last.trim(1,0),opacity=0.5)
mergechroma(y,uv)


may be the best you can do for that one.

The second clip is a little too short to work out what's going on.
