Hi,
For anyone who uses custom output levels and a 3dlut, how do you calibrate using Displaycal? Do you set the custom output levels before calibration? Or calibrate at standard output levels and just set the custom levels after calibration? Is there anything specific you need to do in Displaycal to let it know you're using custom levels? In MadTPG I set an output of 1-255 and calibrated using Displaycal and got very poor dE results. I tried a further 2 times with equally poor results. I then set output to 0-255 and got perfect results. Having a custom output is the only way I can avoid near-black crush on my TV.
