So I upgraded to the latest Geforce 970 drivers and afterwards I couldn't get any video files to play.
MPC-HC would just black screen and the frame rate number would go into the 1000s.
The only way to get it to play was to disable display mode switching.
However I need madvr to switch resolution as this automatically changes my TV picture mode too
So far I've rolled back the drivers but playback still doesn't seem right - the frame rate has to work it's way up to the actual frame rate instead of just playing it back from the start
