10 bit 64 bit:
x264 core 148 r2705 3f5ed56
Both clear and kmod
720x480 encode:
4 threaded:
18586 KB
Single threaded:
18594 KB
crop(4,4,-4,0) for 712x476
4 threaded (and tested 2, 8):
21276 KB
1 threaded:
18596 KB
The build off videolan (x264 core 148 r2694 3b70645), comes out 21276/21254 KB 8/1 threaded. There is no 10 bit 2705 on videolan.
e: I forgot to test the videolan build without the crop. Sorry, tired.
e2: Ok, the videolan build is showing the same 18594KB 720x480 as Komisar. So could a mod edit the thread title since this isn't a Komisar problem?
e3: 8 bit 712x476 is 21908/21883 8/1 threaded. Let's see... I'm on x264 core 148 r2638 7599210 there. Probably Komisar since I'd have never have updated MeGUI's 8 bit.
e4: 8 bit x264 core 148 r2705 3f5ed56 is basically the same as r2638
