Divx and AC-3

I am going to mux ac-3 with my divx file, when I demux the AC-3 file with DVD2AVI it said it had a -12 audio delayed. In nandub when I put the audio and video together do I add a -12 or +12 in the audio correction.

If it says -12 then put -12.
