I have good news for those of you who are using Mac hardware and who want to see histographic analytics of video assets:
Today I released a new re-written BitrateViewer for Mac to Apple's AppStore (based on my BitrateViewer Windows version). The Mac version works even better than the older Windows version. It has a standard GUI and it supports all current FFMpeg video codecs including H.265/HEVC.
You'll find a description on my special homepage http://osx.futurenow-consulting.de.
The AppStore access link to my new app is: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bitrateviewer/id1125261664?l=en&ls=1&mt=12

Hi konran. Is there any chance you will port and release this for windows again too? I still use your old windows one regularly for looking at x264/AVC streams.
Thanks.

Hi RainyDog,
unfortunately not, because I switched to iOS and OS X development many years ago. In the Mac version, I reworked the FFMpeg interface quite deeply to support their current builds. Maybe I consider a report to Windows in the far future, but I don't promise.
For now I recommend using an OS X virtual machine running on Windows (using at least OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks) and use the Mac version virtually.

Anyone know what happened to the Mac version? I bought a license, but the app has been removed from the app store, and i cannot reinstall it...
The dev seems to have vanished from earth ;)

The app should be available in the "Purchased" section of the App Store.
