does any one can help?
i install the avi_io soft and it cant detect my dv cam
i dosent have problem capturing whit premire.
any halp will be welcome

avi_io won't detect firewire.it has settings for tv and composite(rca)only.

For a DV Cam you don't really need AVI_IO. I use AVI_IO for all my analogue video (8mm, VHS, VHSC) but I use EditStudio to capture my DV video (the capture function does not expire).
