Dear Community,

I am looking for a player that can give frame packed 3d to SVP, then do an avisynth script to convert that to sequential 3d and then do madVR upscaling while also bitstreaming common audio formats like Atmos to a receiver.

Do you happen to know if this is possible? What player should I look at for doing this?

Thanks in advance!

SVP does not work with 3D, prediction would destroy the 3D separation.

not saying you are wrong but SVP 4 pro can do this:"Support for BD-3D video (MVC)"

https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Purchase

but if i'm not mistaken madVR will try to always use 1080p23 for 3D.

Thank you for your input.

Currently I can do half SBS 3d with SVP and madVR. I currently can't do full 1080p 3d @ 50Hz because HDMI 1.4 doesn't allow it.

My plan is to circumvent my HDMI restriction by changing the mainboard on my TV. That means 3d active will only be possible in frame sequential 3d but at full resolution and 50hz (per eye).

SVP supports full sbs or top/bottom 3d formats. I just need a player that can read frame packed 3d because that is pretty much the only source for full hd 3d material I know (3d BD). I'm planning to change the format as necessary via avisynth scripts.
