Some time ago I downloaded and installed the last available release of Sanear (0.3).
I registered the filters and used it for a while.

Recently, for reasons unknown, it stopped working in both Kodi DSPlayer and MPC-HC. The filter is registered, I "tell" Kodi and MPC-HC to use it but both programs end up using DirectSound Default Device as audio renderer.

I have tried unregistering and registering it again, to no avail. I deleted the relevant entry in the registry, to no avail.

What am I missing? This is the first time I have this kind of problems with a DirectShow filter. Help! Please.

I solved this. I found that in the DeviceId key in the registry, under HKCU\Software\sanear was empty. This seems normal for when the default device is selected. But for reasons I can't understand my default device wasn't being picked up. So I selected the device I wanted to use in Reclock and copied its ID from the key under HKCU\Software\Reclock\Config and put it under the same entry in Sanear. After a couple of times of doing this, it triggered something and Sanear was loading once more.

I know I'm not providing a "clean" solution, but this is what I did to make it work again...
