Hi
Can old 35mm footage converted to 48fps or higher fps..digital video file(any file format okay),what about sound.does it match?

You can always interpolate intermediate frames. But interpolation will not be as good as if you had filmed using 48 Hz to begin with. There is already software for this. For live playback people use SVP and mvtools2 (http://avisynth.org.ru/mvtools/mvtools2.html) for encoding.

You can also encode with Interframe, based on SVP.
The sound will match if you don't change the speed. If you do, you will have to change sound's speed too.
