I've never had this issue before using the same encoding settings. I'm using Bd-Rebuilder 50.11 and the particular movie is Se7en (VC-1) and it stutters just slightly, the audio seems unaffected. I know it's the encoding/encoder because the bluray itself plays fine on the same system then after the encode it stutters using the same playback methods.

I've also burned to blu-ray and played on ps3 and ps4 and still stutters. I tried encoding the same way again to make sure it wasn't a fluke and the problem remained. I've always used the High Speed option ABR due to having a slower 'puter. But this has never been a problem just takes longer. My target size is BD-25 if that matters.

Here's the system settings:

What video decoder is being used? The ffmpeg decoder has been known to be problematic with VC-1. This might be one of the few cases where I'd try LAV Video (with activated Microsoft or DXVA2 (copy-back) VC-1 decoding). What does MediaInfo say about source and output framerate?

I finally figured that out on my own. I ended up unticketing directshow and using X264/LAVF in bd rebuilder and it worked.

:thanks: though
