So far there is only a demuxing GUI for MKV and MP4, more formats using ffmpeg will be added later.

What about:

- a tool to batch index a bunch of clips with DgSource or LWlibav (instead of having to wait indexing for each file). Launch batch index for 10 or 20 clips, do something else meanwhile. When indexing is finished, resume work with staxrip - clips open immediately

- a tool to batch execute compressibility check on a bunch of staxrip project files (with logs all conveniently grouped in a single directory. Or even more convenient, a single log for all clips, containing only name of clips and resulting bitrate)

- not a standalone tool, but still useful for staxrip: under preview, show audio wave (sometimes useful for precise cutting)

batch index can be done with 'Source' > 'File Batch' > 'Demux and index before creating jobs'

other things are rather special or difficult
