Sony Bravia

I didn't see anything related to Sony Bravia TV recordings on USB. Apparently these are encrypted so only the recording TV can see them.

While I understand the reasons, I do not always agree with them :)

I understood that for Samsung there was once a tool, today no longer effective, to recover those recordings.

Does anyone know how to do it?

PS: No, I will not change my TV :)

I got a bravia too, but I never used its dvr.
moreover what's boring me is its incapability to reproduce long videos (about >2h with ac3, >1.40 with aac)

I would have not used its capabilities either, just that in that place I cannot attach a "free"/"open" SAT-DVR, and have to run the SAT aerial directly into that Sony.

Thus the problem.
