I use MPC-HC media player to play videos from the pc when I click on a link in a Collectorz database.
This works well, and I can set MPC to always start full screen with a custom logo to make it almost seamless.
I would like the player to quit after playing each video.

I can set this up in MPC by right clicking and choosing 'Play > After Playback > Exit'.

The problem is that I cannot set the player to do this permanently. The setting is lost when the player
is started up again. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Perhaps I've just missed the option.
I'm using MPC over VLC as it's the lightest most capable player I can find next to VLC.

If there is no way around it, can anyone recommend a simple player that can do what I need?
preferably with mp4 + webm compatibility

Context menu is for temporary function only. If you want to permanently enable that option you'd have to open Options -> Playback -> After Playback choose "Exit" from dropdown menu.
