Hi,
I have a video that was originally PAL, but converted to 1080mbaff30 for its home video release. It has the usual PAL pattern of 4 clean frames and 2 blended frames. Normally I can clean this type of material up 100% with a bob+srestore, however only on pure interlaced content (which is what I usually deal with). When trying yadif(mode=1,order=1) (it is TFF, I verified) alongside srestore it's still leaving in blends, something I don't get when restoring 100% interlaced video. Seeing how the only thing that's different is that the source is mbaff rather than interlaced, I'm going to guess that's what tripping Yadif up but I could be wrong. After all, you would expect there to be no bleds once the video is bobbed, yet there sitll is. I've also tried a few other things such as fixblendivtc but no dice in removing all of the blends. Anyone else have anything that comes to mind that may work? Thanks.
