Hi,
Somehow, DVD2SVCD build 4 stops at video encoding. The correct bitrates are displayed in CCE but it waits for someone to press the encode button.
Never had anything like this before. Any suggestions?

I was getting that problem at first. I dropped my "temporal smooth" setting from 4 to 2 and bingo! full unattended svcd process. (of course i'm still working on other issues - but that's a different can of worms) (:þ hope this helps!

There were quite a few post on this issue recently. Pls use the forum's search feature.
If you're using XP, then one reason for this behaviour could be that you either locked your PC or used fast user switching. Both action locks the screen and the recent release of dvd2svcd is unable to push the button while being locked.

you either locked your PC or used "fast" user switching.
Is there another way to switch users in XP?

No. The problem with switch user will be fixed in the next version of DVD2SVCD. There is a beta available in the tmpeg stick post at advanced forum.
