OK no shooting me. I use WMV (VC-1) for all my media because I have Windows Media Center and a bunch of XBox's thruout the house to watch movies and any other format audio gets crushed to stereo and probably has to transcode. Anyway, I've been using Expression Encoder 4 Pro for a long time now and produces excellent results. Usually using an AVI container to plug into it. With Windows 10 I couldn't get it working so had to revert back to Windows 7. Are there any WMV HD encoders out there that are superior quality and would be comparable and as compatible as what Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 creates? OK to spend some cash so doesn't have to be free.
