Please help Avi/AC3 to VCD

hi guys i have some problems , i want to encode an divx movie file
with ac3 sound to vcd i tried it with tmpg but the result is
just the picture with no sound .
Please help what have i doing wrong .

u need to seperate the audio from the video using vitualdub.just open the movie and go to file>save wav.it will save the ac3 with a wav extension,rename it to ac3.
then u need to decode the ac3 to wave using "azid" or "vob2audio".azid is more complex but gives better results.after that just choose the wave in the audio box in tmpeg.any probs get back.

edit: Only thing is, I couldn't get VOB2audio to open a single ac3 file, it wants a vob list.
