Hello all,

I have a few 3D mkv. Sadly there is no SteroMode Flag in the header. So I want to add this flag.

But how can I find out which eye is first? It seems important, because there a separat numbers to use:

0: mono,
1: side by side (left eye is first),
2: top-bottom (right eye is first),
3: top-bottom (left eye is first),
4: checkboard (right is first),
5: checkboard (left is first),
6: row interleaved (right is first),
7: row interleaved (left is first),
8: column interleaved (right is first),
9: column interleaved (left is first),
10: anaglyph (cyan/red),
11: side by side (right eye is first),
12: anaglyph (green/magenta),
13 both eyes laced in one Block (left eye is first),
14 both eyes laced in one Block (right eye is first)

Thanks and regards

Not to speak for the mods, but since it's a pretty safe bet you didn't legally obtain these "3D MKVs" you will most likely find this thread locked.

Rule 6 will tell you why.

Yeah, I was going to mention something when I first saw this. Kind of a giveaway if you don't know the source.
The source would tell everything you need to know about the flags.
(ie, the process of making the 3D MKVs; in this case left out entirely so our guess is as good as OPs)

If these were personally created, it would be easy to tell what's needed.
Usually people going into 3D learn a bit before using any program to achieve the type of 3D delivery they want.
Which, again, is all left out here so there's no real answer unless the source is given (in detail) and how they were created.

The one that looks right is probably the correct one, obvious but then so was the question (or rather, the answer to the question).
