First of all sorry for opening a new thread just for an additional feature request...(long ago there was an own thread just for feature requests )
Please consider adding an option to BD-RB to be able setup an independent filter for a high quality double-frame rate deinterlacing. It would be very useful in alternate movie-only output mode.(This is because 1080p at 50/59.94 fps is not BD complaint and is supported only by a few of the current BD players).
One could activate it by selecting e.g. DEINTERLACER_TYPE=6.
Since the output would be progressive and having double-frame rate content, maybe a new flag should be created that assumes progressive and a modified AssumeFPS filter would be required as well which would change the frame rate properly.
I think this function would be especially useful when one (like me) most of the time is using PC software for playing interlaced content which deinterlace it poorly.
I hope you will consider incorporating this option in BD-RB.
Your efforts are really appreciated and thanks again for this great software!
