Hi, I've been having problems with ripping animation DVDs (for example, Atlantis). After I convert a D2V project into AVI, I will see black lines on the video whenever there's motion in the picture. I don't really know anything about the attributes of those DVDs except that they're all NTSC. Does anyone know how to get rid of those black lines? thanx in advance!

Hi :),
Are you very new to backing-up ur dvd's ? :) Those black lines would be interlaced frames my friend and you must run the video through a deinterlacer such as decomb avisynth plug-in or use the IVTC function of TMPG Encoder ( or something else ) to get rid of them. It is not a decryption issue at all!
I suggest that you go and read a few articles about deinterlacing and read the doom9 guides as they cover how to process these dvds in detail....
