This sample shows a really bad case of stairstepping:

Looks even worse in motion. I've only succeeded in calming it down a little with:

Try QTGMC in progressive mode.

(note though that it can cause unwanted side effects)

I tried qtgmc(inputtype=1,blocksize=4), daa(), maa2(), Mrdaa() and mcDAA3(). None have been able to better santiag().
