Hey,

I want to synchronize a DTS-HD MA track with a better encoded video from an import BD. Therefore I had to add a few seconds from antoher DTS-HD MA track. So what's the better way: Decoding both tracks to WAVs and cut everything with Audacity or using "Join/Replace" in DTS-HD StreamTools?

Since it's lossless, decode->splice->reencode is normally the way to go. Splicing individual frames is fast but has a non-zero chance of causing nasty distortion for a frame or two, although if it's spliced in near-silence that may not be audible. Since it's the DTS tool, I'd assume DTS-HD StreamTools is able to work around that by re-encoding just the affected packet(s), making splicing safe, but I've never used it so I don't know.
