Going to the last post of topic from main forum page

I vote for small forum enhancement. Sometimes I am attracted with new replies when viewing main forum page. I click on topic and im redirected to some random page of that topic, just to the middle of discussion. Wouldnt be nicer to be redirected to the last post of topic, or at least - the first written post since my last visit - based on my cookie's date.

EDIT: i usually view posts unlogged. I see that being logged makes things better/works as intended. Can it be improved for unlogged viewers too?
