Weird issue with lossless h264 on nvidia vdpau

I'm getting a green line at the bottom of some videos that are h264 lossless, when played on vdpau output. I know vdpau can't decode lossless, but all my PCs are set to vdpau so that's why it's an issue for me.

nvidia has support for lossless h264 decoding:
support for lossless H.264/AVC video streams to VDPAU has been added.

NVenc can encode lossless too.
