MPC-HC amplified LFE in 5.1 audio

Probably not MPC-HC problem specifically.

I have 5.1 system that doesn't have bass redirection when it's operating in 5.1 mode. The low frequencies from satellites are not redirected to the subwoofer by the amplifier.
Since the system is connected to the PC with analog 3.5mm cables, I use windows bass management to redirect everything under 110 Hz to woofer. This works great if the material is 2.0 or anything without LFE channel.

However, if I play any 5.1 movie, ac3 or dts, the subwoofer plays both LFE channel + satellite channels under 110 Hz. Since the satellite and LFE channels frequencies overlap a bit, I get insanely amplified low frequencies somewhere in 40-70 Hz zone. I can reduce subwoofer in amplifier all the way down to -16db compared to other speakers to make 40-70 Hz normal. However, then 70-110 Hz becomes too silent.

Now, since I don't have equalizer on amplifier nor in the PC audio drivers, I'm looking for some way to solve this? Is it possible to do this in MPC-HC somehow? Or at least block LFE channel in movies altogether.

EDIT: also is there any DTS or AC3 file with only sine tone from 20Hz-20kHz so I can try to figure out which frequencies are getting amplified.

try AC3 filter.

What is the best way to reduce loudness of LFE channel? Reduce LFE input gain?

it shouldn't do that by default.

make sure windows bass redirection isn't used anymore.
